Of which it is concealed, 2014 Performance, 45 min. Hove Festival, Norway. A woman dressed in vinyl arrives, carrying a long ladder on one shoulder and a folded cloth under the other arm. Heading towards a big rock in the ocean, she fumbles across the stone beach. As she enters the ocean, she is swept along with the seaweeds and shells. Using the ladder, she arrives on top of the rock. Only parts of the vinyl dress remains, as the rest was swept away by the currents. She unwraps the folded cloth, sitting on a ledge on top of the rock. As she encapsulates herself in the cloth, it completes the shape of the stone, simulating both its shape and color. This completion is held for about twenty minutes. As she leaves the ocean, the remains of her dress is swept away and she leaves it all behind. Photos by Jon Benjamin TallerĂ¥s and Bjarne Bare.
